- PRESIDENTIAL DS N°8 is a unique expression of French craftsmanship. It was made available to the Presidency of the French Republic ahead of DS N°8, DS Automobiles’ new flagship, going on sale in September 2025.
- The Head of State of France, Emmanuel Macron, took part in the 8 May 1945 Armistice remembrance in PRESIDENTIAL DS N°8. As a result, he becomes the world’s first President of a Republic to have a 100% electric official car.
- PRESIDENTIAL DS N°8, DS Automobiles’ new 100% electric flagship with its ACC battery and record range of 750 km, was presented to the President of the French Republic by the Brand, the craftspeople and partners who took part in its development.

From December 1st 2015, Thierry POIRAT is appointed General Manager of DS Automobiles in the joint venture Changan PSA Automobiles (CAPSA) and based in China.

On 1 December 2014, Valérie Ponce was appointed development director for the DS brand in France. This new position was created to accelerate the nationwide development of DS as a brand. Thomas Dagommer replaces her as marketing director of CITROËN and DS France. They will both report to Philippe Narbeburu, Sales Director France, for CITROËN and DS.

After being appointed Vice-President Global Sales and Marketing of the DS brand last June, Arnaud Ribault will take office on 1 October 2014. He will be based in Paris, France. On the same date, Robert Chan, who joined the brand last May, will succeed Arnault Ribault as the General Manager of the DS brand in the Changan PSA Automobiles (CAPSA) joint venture. He will be based in Shanghai, China.
